Course Format

This Spa Reflexology Workshop deals with the theory and practice of administering a successful, therapeutic Reflexology session in a Spa, MediSpa, or Salon setting.  It can also be offered as a Specialty Service to promote relaxation, to restore, and to rejuvenate.

• learn the history, theory, effects, and benefits of Reflexology
• learn the zones of the body: vertical and horizontal
• learn the location of primary reflex points
• learn techniques and procedures to effectively palpate reflexes
• learn basic principles and hands-on techniques
• practice the techniques and locate the reflexes
• administer a Spa Reflexology session
• fulfill the requirements for Certificate of Completion

Energy medicine is both a complement to conventional medicine and a holistic approach to health care when working on the physical, mental, and emotional levels.

Energy medicine recognizes energy as a living, moving, vibrational force that determines the individual’s level of health and well-being.  Energy medicine facilitates healing by activating the body’s natural healing energies and by restoring an energetic balance.

Principles:

      dynamic infrastructure of the physical body.

      is reflected in the health of the body.

      energies can manifest as illness or chronic disease.

4.)  Equilibrium, flow, and harmony can be restored
      and maintained within an energy system via
      exercise, nutrition, Super Green Foods, 
      detoxification, and Energy Medicine modalities
      such as Massage Therapy, CranioSacral Therapy,
      Reiki, Polarity Therapy, and Hands-on Energy  
      Healing.
